We are in France! And quite tired, after hauling our bags across Guernsey, the English Channel, and St Malo. Okay, we had a boat do most of the work, but it was a long walk from the ferry terminal to our hotel. The walled city of the old town looks beautiful from the sea. We're staying in a pretty ordinary looking area outside the walled city but the hotel is comfortable and right now that's all I care about! We spent the morning waiting for the ferry, taking it in turns to mind luggage and have one last wander around St Peter Port. I'm so glad Marnie suggested the Channel Islands. They've been wonderful! Okay, I'm going to sleep now.
